Dr. Garry Lacefield is the Extension Forage Agronomist at the University of Kentucky. He completed his B.S. at Western Kentucky University in 1970, and M.S. degree there in 1971. He received his PhD from the University of Missouri in 1974. He has spent over 25 years working with alfalfa in various research and educational programs. Dr Lacefield is a Fellow in the American Society of Agronomy and Crop Science Society. He is past president of the American Forage and Grassland Council.
